Entrelazadxs/acompasadxs por el ejercicio de movimiento que genera este aire que entra en nuestros cuerpos y dinamiza nuestros órganos y energías, experimentamos cómo nos conectamos con nuestro ecosistema, este aire me relaciona con lo/la/el otro desde una necesidad. Entiendo desde este posicionamiento (inhalando y exhalando conscientemente) que el cuerpo del otrx se convierte en una extensión viva de mi propio cuerpo en el ejercicio de aproximación; y que las experiencias con otros cuerpos conforman una corporeidad tanto individual como colectiva.

Bodies that stand before other bodies, that are compared and defined in that questioning. A fragile border separates the two skins, their limits unclear. They have no inside and outside, no positive and negative. The fiction of the self is made manifest. The confrontation involves accompanying in the fall. There is a negotiation between one and the other in everything at every moment, like a constant squaring off, a comparison, more of a dance than a fight, where there is no triumph. There is no presence without reciprocity.

In the confronting of bodies, we add the dimension of a sign. At the end of the day, one of the main behaviours of an artwork is the total comparison and contrast with everything that surrounds it physically and symbolically. The measure is everything, five centimetres up or down makes a definitive difference. The power of the encounter is an ever-new opportunity. I do not say that there is no work without a spectator, but that there is no work without confronting.

Beste gorputz batzuen aurrean kokatzen diren gorputzak, konparatzen direnak eta zalantza horretan definitzen direnak. Muga argiak ez dituzten haragiak bereizten dituen muga hauskorra. Ez dute barrualderik eta kanpoalderik, ezta positibotik eta negatiborik ere.  Agerian uzten da niaren fikzioa.  Konfrontazioak berekin dakar erorikoan laguntzea. Bata eta bestearen arteko negoziazio bat existitzen da uneoro, etengabeko buruz buruko bat bezala, borroka bat baino gehiago, dantza bat, non garaipenik ez dagoen. Ez dago presentziarik elkarrekikotasunik gabe.

Gorputzen konfrontazioan, zeinu baten dimentsioa gehitzen dugu. Azken finean, obra baten jokabide nagusietako bat fisikoki eta sinbolikoki inguratzen duen guztiarekiko erabateko konfrontazioa da.  Neurria berebizikoa da: bost zentimetro beherago, oso alde nabarmena eragiten dute. Topaketaren potentzia aukera berri bat da beti. Ez dut esaten ez dagoela obrarik ikuslerik gabe, baizik eta ez dagoela obrarik konfrontaziorik gabe.
