The choice of Ophelia’s image is not by chance, since it was part of an idea of the separation between nature and culture or the unconscious and rationality that has ceased to exist. The individual is no longer the centre and there is no longer nature to use in a pragmatic way or a background to separate from. Silhouettes of plants overlap with those of the swimmers, who embody a strange being, not completely human, intertwined and dependent on their environment in a symbiotic way whose movements are delimited by the amount of air they retain, its volume, the friction of the water and the movements of their peers. The drawings are made from videos of synchronized swimming in which arms, legs or almost entire bodies appear. However, these snapshots capture the precise momento in which the swimmer appears to breathe, that is, at which point their dependence on air is revealed.
